After 20 plus years in corporate sales and marketing leadership roles with Pella Corporation, Ply Gem and Masterbrand Cabinets, I bought the assets of a small fence company in Myrtle Beach in 2010. Having grown up in the Hudson Valley of New York and been relocated throughout the Midwest multiple times, our family answered the call of the ocean.

First and foremost, different customers have different needs. So, we have invested in people, equipment and technology to make installing a fence as hassle-free as possible:

  • Full time dedicated customer service associates to answer your call, assist you with your questions and keep you up-to-date on schedules.
  • Full time, dedicated residential, commercial and property manager consultants skilled in the unique needs of their customers.
  • A Marine Veteran with over a decade of general construction experience and five years of fence specific experience leads our production crews. 
  • An established place of business.  Our showroom, supply house and fabrication shop has been in the same Myrtle Beach location for over 10 years and is open six days a week.  We are right around the corner from Costco, Coastal Grande Mall and the airport – stop by and say hello!
  • GoodeConnect™, our exclusive electronic scheduling and estimating system, powered by Housecall Pro.  With GoodeConnect, you will get mobile phone and e-mail updates of upcoming appointments, installations dates, complete and detailed estimates, electronic invoicing and electronic bill pay.
  • Legal employees, fair pay and a customer first culture.  All our installers are full-time, e-verified employees.  Our installation leads and journeyman are uniformed and our entire team receives 30 to 60 minutes of skills and safety training every week.
  • When we say we are insured, we are insured.  $1MM General Liability, $1MM Auto, $1MM workers compensation and a $1MM commercial umbrella over it all.  Plus, we are payment and performance bondable to over $200,000.
  • We are licensed everywhere we work.  In fact, Goode fence spends over $5000 a year in business license fees with over 25 jurisdictions.
  • Our fabrication shop can craft virtually any custom chain link, aluminum or wrought iron fence, rail, or gate product you can dream up.
  • We keep thousands of fence parts in-stock.  Goode Fence also stocks aluminum pool code fence in two styles and aluminum backyard fence.

In reality, there is rarely anything easy about achieving the perfect fence project.   It takes great people, the right products and knowledge of covenants, codes, easements, soil conditions and understanding the needs of our customers.  So, our objective - whether you buy from us or not - is to provide you honest, comprehensive and detailed information to make your selection of a fence contractor as thought out as possible. 

All that said, can I tell you everything will go without a hitch?  No.  Stuff happens, surprises occur, and changes get made.  What I can tell you is we do all we can to make you a satisfied customer.
